The Haribans Charity Trust is a dynamic, non-profit organisation taking on the responsibility of bringing about social development to the community of KwaZulu – Natal.

We envisage a community of skilled workers becoming independent and less reliant on charity. We wish to make Verulam and its surrounding areas a workforce that builds itself economically with much needed training and projects to assist the underprivileged and those from indigent backgrounds.

Of the many projects developed to assist the community of Verulam is the recently launched CAP (Community AIDS Programme) accompanied by MIP (Matric Intervention Programme) and the OM HARI SABHA TEMPLE. We also have embarked on SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES viz. LITERACY PROGRAMME and SEWING CLASSES (ABET).
